This is an early example of a simple rounded corner in brick and is probably  from the late 18th century.   It was known as J.Smith, a wine and spirit merchant from 1824, later becoming A.J. Smith. This name continued into the 1960s  although the name 'Queen' also appeared by the late Victorian period.
